Pray for Our Sons & Daughters in Uniform
Army Soldier in Iraq tending his 'tiny plot' of grass
Hungry for home, a soldier stationed in Iraq asked his wife to send him some U.S. soil, fertilizer, & grass seed so that he could smell the sweet aroma & feel the grass grow beneath his feet.
When the men of the squadron go on a mission, they take turns walking through the grass & American soil to bring them good luck. (Barefooted perhaps?)
Notice the soldier is cutting the grass with a pair of scissors. Unlike us, he knows & doesn't take for granted the importance of small things. Please say a prayer for all our soldiers and their families who give so unselfishly for us.
Lord, please hold our troops in Your loving Hands. Protect them as they protect us and others. Bless them and their families for their selfless acts. Please keep them strong. This we ask in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen
